Go Figure
Go Figure –a rhythm platformer for the retro 8bit MSX2 platform.
While highly inspired by Bit.Trip Rerunner and Geometry Dash on modern platforms, this version features its own levels, music and twists to the gameplay.
It's using an 8MB Flash ROM with a new ASCII-X mapper which has room for both game and intro video.
The game is using OPL4 (aka Moosound) for its audio –a massive 42 channel power house with both FM and sample-support. Wolf is the composer this time around as well.
The game features 10 levels, a ranking system, unlocking of levels and an achievements system. The game persists your progression on the flash ROM and extras include an internal BGM / Music Player and generated QR codes for the online high score table at https://msx.org/mgs/?page=board&game=gf
Current version available is the MSXdev'25 entry and can be found over at their site.
